So it comes as no surprise that one CCMC community manager was recently awarded the Humanitarian Guiding Excellence in Management (G.E.M.) Recognition Award by the Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Each year, the Humanitarian G.E.M. is awarded to one outstanding manager who goes above and beyond the call of duty to help a homeowner, community or cause. CCMC\u2019s community manager at Gladden Farms (Marana, AZ), David Gauvin has done exactly that. Described as \u201crelentless\u201d in his pursuit to meets the needs of his community and improve the quality of life for his residents, David is constantly looking for such opportunities. When his community was hit by a micro-burst last summer many trees were lost. The cost of replacement trees was way too high for many residents. So, what did David do? He picked up the phone and called a local nursery. They agreed to donate 125 Heritage Live Oak trees to the cause. Residents purchased the tress for $5 and all proceeds were used to support neighborhood events and programs.
